Are You Listening When Spirit Talks?

Hi my friend,

If you’ve been feeling stuck, trapped, or unable to move, I can definitely relate.

Over the past few weeks I’ve been feeling so profoundly troubled, I thought I might be going crazy. Nothing made any sense. Sometimes people’s mouths would be moving and I was so anxious I couldn’t even hear what they were saying. Fear was rising up inside me like a dirty flood, and I was feeling so depressed that I couldn’t really do anything except watch really bad network TV on Netflix, and I haven’t watched that kind of TV in 30 years. Has anything like this ever happened to you?

It got so bad that one morning, to get away from the frustration, I climbed up a set of stone steps onto a big rocky cliff right here in Davenport to get some peace. The waves pounded at the base of the cliff and swirled around in a dizzying mess below me.

It’s not so far down, I thought. I could jump. This pain would stop, then.

Well, I knew I wouldn’t jump, but just the thought was proof enough that something had to change. So I started to pray. I prayed to be used. I prayed to be a vessel for Spirit to fill. I prayed to know what to do. Please, I said, I’ll do anything. Just tell me what to do.

A voice came up clear as a bell inside my head. It said “I already told you what to do, and you are not doing it.”

That voice was like a kick in the head, a gentle, loving kick, but a kick just the same—because I knew it was true.

A few months ago, Spirit made it abundantly clear that I am to “do spiritual teaching” but didn’t tell me how. It’s been clear to me for a long time that my biggest purpose is Spiritual Evolution, but Spirit never said anything about how to do actually execute on this. What was clear is that I was not to wait any longer.

But I did wait. I ignored the instruction because it scared me. I felt unworthy to the call. I did the equivalent of sticking my fingers in my ears and saying la la la la la.

I was completely stuck until it dawned on me that life is a series of steps. My whole life has been a preparation for helping souls evolve. My years of improvisational performance art and dance has given me the willingness to say yes to anything and accept what is. I’ve been gifted with the opportunity learn from masters to create modern rituals that allow us to communicate with God and the unseen world. My NLP and Destination© Method training prepared me to teach how we give the unconscious clear instructions.

Spirit is right. I am ready, and I cannot wait any longer.

Here’s where you come in. My life is about service, I’ve created a program so I can be in service to you.

The staircase is the symbol of conscious, awakened action. All you need to do on a staircase is take the next step. So I’m calling the weekend “Up The Up Staircase.”

Here’s what it is:

A-day-and-a-half that is designed to clear the anxiety, lethargy and get you moving again. You’ll spend the day in the amazing company of others who are working on the same issues, and you will get real results. This will be an experiential, interactive and unique experience.

Here’s what I’ll help you do:

• Reveal and connect with your own power and source
• Take the evolutionary next step for your soul
• Really get clear and congruent on what your next step should be
• Identify blocks and unstick yourself, now and in the future
• Learn how to work with “the lie that tells the truth” (Yes there will be Art.)
• Find out what’s missing in life’s recipe when you get stuck
• Discover how community is an essential part of your individual evolution

Only do this if:

• You are really willing to unstick yourself and grow
• Much as it hurts to say, some people are in love with their stuckness and really don’t want to change. Only come if you really want to change.
• You will participate to help everyone else in the group get it, too
• This work happens in community, so what you do affects everyone else
• You are open to new ideas and are willing to play and try new things
• You can walk for about a quarter of a mile, and move in a non-strenuous way for at least 20 minutes
• You believe in Spirit and that you have a Soul.
• I can’t talk around these topics. You’re there or not.
